Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review, update, and make changes to your employee benefits.
Whether you’re looking to continue or explore new options it’s important to be informed and prepared.
ACTION REQUIRED:
All benefit eligible employees must login to Employee Self Service (ESS) to complete the open enrollment process – even those who are declining coverage (unless terming prior to 1/1/2027).
How to Prepare:
- Make sure you can log in to Employee Self Service (ESS). Contact the Auditor’s Office for login assistance:
- Update your contact, dependent and beneficiary information in Employee Self Service (ESS) to ensure your record is current.
- Know the dates – Open Enrollment runs from October 20th through November 2, 2026.
- Review your current benefit elections in Employee Self Service (ESS).
- Explore your options by comparing plans, costs and any new offerings.
- Attend a Benefit meeting to learn more.
- Contact the Benefit Resource Center (BRC) by calling 855-874-0829 or emailing them at BRCMidwest@usi.com Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST & CST for any questions you may have about our benefits.
A confirmation of your benefit election will be sent to your email once your submission is reviewed and approved by benefits. Benefits are effective January 1, 2027. Please check your January 8th paycheck to ensure your benefits are being deducted and compare them to your benefit summary. If there is an error, contact tigo@clermontcountyohio.gov.
No changes can be made after this period unless you experience a qualifying life event.
